Komló District
Komló ( hu, Komlói járás) is a district in northern part of Baranya County. ''Komló'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Southern Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Komló District borders with Bonyhád District ''(Tolna County)'' to the east, Pécs District to the south, Hegyhát District to the west and north. Districts Of Hungary
Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. Altogether, there are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Districts of the 19 counties are numbered by Arabic numerals and named after the district seat, while districts of Budapest are numbered by Roman numerals and named after the historical towns and neighbourhoods. In Hungarian, the districts of the capital and the rest of the country hold different titles. Tófű (German: ''Tofi'') is a village in Baranya County, Hungary, northeast of Pécs in the Komló District. As of 2015, its population was 166. History The name Tófű was first mentioned in 1382 in the form of Thofew. The village was probably named for the nearby lake. Oroszló is a village in the Komló District of Baranya county, Hungary. Etymology The name comes from a Slavic personal name ''Zorislav''. 1402/1406 ''Zoroslow''. Location It is located along the 66 main road between Pécs and Kaposvár, between Sásd and Magyarszék, in the southern vicinity of Sásd. The 6601 road branches off from the main road here towards Szentlőrinc. In addition to the mentioned cities, the settlement is easily accessible from Dombóvár and Komló as well.
