Komal Oli
Komal Oli ( ne, कोमल ओली) (born 16 April) is a Nepali newscaster, radio and television personality, folk singer, entertainer and politician. She entered into Nepali politics recently and is a member of the federal national assembly representing Nepal Communist Party (NCP) filling reserved quota for women. She has sung on many folk songs. She has never been married and her marital status has garnered much attention, with Komal, herself, having published a hit song ''Poila Jaana Paam!'' (literal translation: Let me elope!). Early life Komal was born on 16 April in Tikari, Dang to Deepa and Lalit Oli. She is the eldest of four children. She spent all of her childhood in her hometown, graduating from a local school. The Nepal Communist Party, abbreviated NCP ( ne, नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टी, ) is a defunct communist party of Nepal. It was founded on 17 May 2018, from the unification of two leftist parties, Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) and Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre). The unification was completed by the Party Unification Coordination Committee, after eight months of negotiation. The two predecessor parties subsequently dissolved, making way for the new united party. The party retained the electoral symbol of the CPN (UML), the sun. Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Nepal ( ne, राष्ट्रिय प्रजातन्त्र पार्टी नेपाल; translation: ''National Democratic Party Nepal'') is a Hindu right-wing, cultural conservative. It previously existed as royalist political party in Nepal from 2006 to 2016. The party was formed as a splinter of Rastriya Prajatantra Party in 2006 and was later reunified in 2016. Radio Nepal ( ne, रेडियो नेपाल) is the state-owned Radio broadcasting organisation of Nepal. It was established 2 April 1951. Radio Nepal airs programs on short wave, medium wave (AM broadcasting, AM) and FM broadcasting, FM frequencies. Regular broadcasts consume sixteen hours every day, including two hours of regional broadcasts. Public holidays feature an additional two hours. FM Kathmandu, the first FM channel covering Kathmandu valley and adjoining areas, was started in 1995 in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
