Kokkisota
''Kokkisota'' is a Finnish cooking program. It airs on MTV3. It is based on the British show '' Ready Steady Cook''. The Finnish show premiered in 1999, hosted by Sikke Sumari. The show was revived in 2017, with Sumari returning as the host alongside a new cast of chefs. Format Two chefs cook and the best wins. The revival features a 10-minute challenge before the main challenge. 10 minute fast challenge The main chefs have to cook a dish using only the ingredients provided. The winner is decided by the host and receives an advantage in the next challenge. Main challenge The chefs prepare any food they want with a €20 budget. Then they have to cook delicious dishes from the food supply. The winner is decided by the audience. The letters MTV stand for Mainos-TV (literally "Advertisement-TV", i.e. "Commercial TV), due to the channel carrying advertising for revenue. Number 3 was added later, when the channel was allocated the third nationwide television channel and it generally became known as "Channel Three"—Finnish Broadcasting Company’s Yle TV1 and Yle TV2 being the first two—and also to distinguish it from the later MTV Finland, which is a Finnish version of Paramount's MTV channel. Ready Steady Cook
''Ready Steady Cook'' is a BBC daytime TV cooking game show. It debuted on 24 October 1994 and the last original edition was broadcast on 2 February 2010. The programme was hosted by Fern Britton from 1994 until 2000 when celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott became the new host. In August 2000, when Harriott took over, the duration of the programme was extended from 30 to 45 minutes. On 2 September 2019, it was confirmed that Rylan Clark-Neal would host a revived daytime series on BBC One in 2020. On 7 September 2021, it was announced by the BBC that the series ended after two series. Vappu Marjaana Pimiä (born May 16, 1978) is a Finnish radio personality and television hostess. She has been awarded as the best female television personality at the ''Kultainen TV Awards'' in 2009 and 2010. Pimiä is best known as a hostess in the Finnish version of Big Brother. She hosted ''Big Brother Extra'' from 2005 to 2006 (first two seasons) and then ''Big Brother Talk Show'' from 2007 to 2009 (seasons 3–5). On November 29, 2009, she announced that she has decided not to return as a hostess next season. She was later replaced by Susanna Laine, who is a close friend to Pimiä.
