Margretta "Gretta" Kok (born 16 October 1944, in Amsterdam) is a retired Dutch breaststroke swimmer who participated in the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics. In 1960, she was fifths in the 200m breaststroke event, whereas in 1964 she did not reach the final. Paul Kok
Paul Kok (born 21 December 1994) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a left-back for VV Katwijk in the Tweede Divisie. He formerly played on loan for Telstar whilst being at AZ and later for FC Oss. Career Kok did not make one appearance for AZ first team and was loaned to Eerste Divisie side Telstar for the 2013–14 season. On loan at the club Kok played 31 times in the season primarily as a left back, the club finished 15th out of the 20 team division and had the second worst defence in the league, Achilles '29 had the honour of conceding the most goals. Kok joined Oss on a free transfer after his contract expired at AZ and signed a one-year contract with an option of an additional year. Maria Christina "Mimi" Kok (25 January 1934 – 19 April 2014) was a Dutch film and television actress. Biography Kok was discovered by Toon Hermans after winning a beauty pageant in Zandvoort in 1951. He hired her to perform with his theater show. At the end of the 1950s she tried her luck in the United States in the musical business, but her attempt was unsuccessful and returned to the Netherlands in a state of depression. She returned to work with Toon Hermans again, after which her career on stage and in film and television took off. She played both comic and more serious roles in more than 30 productions. Melanie Kok ronounced "Cook"(born November 4, 1983, in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a Canadian rower and neuroscientist. Kok won a bronze team medal in the Women's Lightweight Double Sculls at the 2008 Summer Olympics with Tracy Cameron. Biography Kok earned a B.A. at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she rowed as a varsity athlete for each of her four years as an undergraduate. Kok, a two-time team captain at UVa, earned All-American honours twice (2006, 2007). She was also named to the All-South Region and All-ACC teams. Marinus Kok
Marinus Kok (8 February 1916 - 31 July 1999) was a Dutch priest who served as the twentieth Archbishop of Utrecht from 1970 to 1982. After studying at the Old Catholic Seminary i Amersfoort, Netherlands, he was ordained to the diaconate and priesthood in 1941. Kok served as a parish priest in Arnhem, Amersfoort and The Hague, while he served on the faculty of the Old Catholic Seminary in Amersfoort. He became a member of the Chapter of Utrecht in 1967, and rector of the seminary in Amersfoort in 1968. Kok was chosen in 1969 as coadjutor to Andreas Rinkel, the Archbishop of Utrecht. After Rinkel retired on November 8, 1970, he consecrated Kok on November 9, 1970. Kok retired as Archbishop of Utrecht on December 31, 1981. Kok was married to Topy Smits (1914-2009).
