Warren Gary Kohlman is the general counsel to the National Basketball Players Association and an American criminal defense attorney. Kohlman has represented several high-profile defendants and worked as a public defender for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Education Kohlman earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1968 and then graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1971, where he was mentored by Professor Yale Kamisar. Kohlman was elected to the Order of the Coif, graduating in the top ten percent of his graduating class. Lynn Eleanor Kohlman (August 12, 1946—September 14, 2008) was a fashion model, photographer, author, and creative director at DKNY. Biography Kohlman was born in Teaneck, New Jersey to Clement Wolfe Kohlman (1916–2000), and his wife, Eleanor. She majored in art history at Oberlin College, graduating summa cum laude, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. While at Oberlin, she spent one semester in Florence, Italy, helping restore works of art. She began as a fashion model while in high school and appeared on the covers of major fashion magazines. In the 1970s, she was a photographer for ''Interview'', ''Vogue'', '' GQ'' and ''Glamour''. In 1983, she married Mark Obenhaus, a documentary film producer that she had known as a student at Oberlin College. Churchill Kohlman (January 28, 1906 – May 25, 1983) was an American songwriter A songwriter is a musician who professionally composes musical compositions or writes lyrics for songs, or both. Royalties from "Cry" were the subject of a bitter legal dispute between Kohlman and Perry Alexander, owner of music publisher Mellow Music. Alexander was ordered by arbitrators to pay Kohlman $15,331.24 to settle the dispute in 1953. Kohlman wrote hundreds of other songs, but none achieved the success of "Cry". Joe Kohlman
Joseph James "Blackie" Kohlman (January 28, 1913 – March 16, 1974) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played over parts of two seasons (1937–38) with the Washington Senators. He is best known for being the star pitcher of the 1937 Salisbury Indians, going 25–1 for the season. Career Kohlman started his professional baseball career in 1935, at the age of 22, for Beckley of the Middle Atlantic League. He went 6-10. Two years later, he had moved down to the Class D Eastern Shore League with the Salisbury Indians. This team became famous for having 21 wins forfeited in the middle of the season, only to come back to win the pennant. Kohlman was the ace of the pitching staff. In his first start, he took a loss. He then proceeded to win his last 25 decisions of the regular season, clinching the pennant for Salisbury with a no-hitter on September 2.
