Koh Ta Kiev
Koh Ta Kiev ( km, កោះតាគៀវ, “Ancestor Kiev’s Island” – named "Ile de la Baie" during the French colonial period) is the biggest of a small group of Cambodian islands situated 4 km off Otres beach, Sihanoukville City and just 1 km off the coast of Ream National Park, Sihanoukville Province. Its predominantly forested area of is mostly flat with hills at some points. The inhabitants of two villages run a mango plantation. There is also a small fishing village on the East side of the island. Apart from the Cambodian Navy, which maintains a small base with a port, no infrastructure exists. Three beaches attract travelers and tourists. After many years of attracting individual visitors, large scale resort development is planned. There are currently a few guesthouses and a campsite for visitors to stay. The island is accessible by ferry or speedboat from Otres marina in Sihamoukville or Ream beach, not far from Sihanoukville airport. See also * ... Sihanoukville (city)
Sihanoukville (; km, ក្រុងព្រះសីហនុ, ), also known as Kampong Som ( km, កំពង់សោម, ), is a coastal city in Cambodia and the capital of Preah Sihanouk Province, at the tip of an elevated peninsula in the country's south-west on the Gulf of Thailand. The city is flanked by an almost uninterrupted string of beaches along its entire coastline and coastal marshlands bordering the Ream National Park in the east. Royal Cambodian Navy
The Royal Cambodian Navy ( km, កងទ័ពជើងទឹក, ) is the naval warfare service branch of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and one of the three uniformed services of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Koh Seh
Koh Seh or Koh Ses (Khmer: កោះសេះ, also romanized as ''Kaoh Ses'', its former French name: ''Ile a L’eau'') is a Cambodian island located in the Gulf of Thailand, inside Ream National Park, Sihanoukville province. It lies south of Koh Thmei and around south of the main-land of Sihanoukville's Ream commune. A wide sound separates it from Phu Quoc. "Koh Seh" means Horse Island. Less than 400 meters south-west of Koh Seh lies the tiny islet of Koh Ky. Koh Seh is uninhabited while most of its shores are fringed with mangroves. Koh Russei
Koh Russei, Koh Russey or ''Bamboo Island'' (Khmer: កោះឬស្សី) is one of a group of small islands in the Gulf of Thailand, located about off the coast of Sihanoukville city in southern Cambodia. It is administered by Prey Nob District in Sihanoukville Province. For many years, Koh Russey served exclusively as a small outpost of the Cambodian Navy. However, increasing development and rising tourist numbers in Sihanoukville brought tourism to the island.
