Kofi Koranteng
Kofi Koranteng (born 9 September 1966) is a Ghanaian activist and politician who used to be the chief executive officer of the Progressive Alliance Movement. He has been a key advocate for the rights of Ghanaians living abroad to be given the chance to vote and be represented in that manner through campaigning for the Representation of the Peoples’ Amendment Act (ROPAA) to be passed. In the run off to the election in December 2019, he declared his intention to stand for the 2020 Ghana elections as an independent candidate. Education Koranteng attended Primary School in Accra at Aggrey Memorial and continuing in Kumasi at Garrison Primary. He had his Senior High School Education from college at Adisadel College located in Cape Coast. An independent or non-partisan politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or bureaucratic association. Greater Accra Region
The Greater Accra Region has the smallest area of Ghana's 16 administrative regions, occupying a total land surface of 3,245 square kilometres. This is 1.4 per cent of the total land area of Ghana. Cape Coast
Cape Coast is a city, fishing port, and the capital of Cape Coast Metropolitan District and Central Region of Ghana. Electoral Commission Of Ghana
The Electoral Commission of Ghana(EC) is the official body in Ghana responsible for all public elections. Made up of seven members, its independence is guaranteed by the 1992 Ghana constitution. The current commission was established by the Electoral Commission Act (Act 451) of 1993. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan was the first substantive chairman of the commission from 1993 to 2015. Ghana Police Service
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) is the main law enforcement agency of Ghana. The service is under the control of the Ghanaian Ministry of the Interior, and employs over 30,000 officers across its 651 stations.
