Kocaelispor Managers
Kocaelispor is a Turkish football club based in İzmit. They were founded in 1966 and played in the top level between 1980–1988 and 1992–2003. Their best finish was in 1992–93 season, where they finished fourth. They have won the Turkish Cup twice, in 1997 and 2002. On 8 January 2015, in front of 20,152 spectators, Kocaelispor set a record for the highest attendance at a Turkish Regional Amateur League encounter. History Foundation Prior to establishment of Kocaelispor, the Executive board representatives of Baçspor, a local football club, had demanded a new plat from İzmit Municipality to assure a place for training the sports in 1957. Kocaeli Stadium
Kocaeli Stadium or İzmit Stadium is a stadium in İzmit, Turkey. It was opened to public in 2018 with a capacity of 34,712 spectators. It is the new home of Kocaelispor. It replaced the club's old home stadium, İzmit İsmetpaşa Stadium. Güvenç Kurtar
Güvenç Kurtar (born 25 July 1959) is a Turkish football manager and former forward who most recently worked as head coach for Gümüşhanespor. Career Born in Uşak, Kurtar began playing football with Beşiktaş J.K. He played at Mersin Idman Yurdu, Bursaspor, Altay S.K. and Kocaelispor before retirement. Coaching career On 5 March 2010 Diyarbakirspor hired the coach to replace Ziya Doğan until the end of the season.
