Kobus Marais
Kobus Marais is a South African politician, Member of Parliament with the Democratic Alliance, and the current Shadow Minister of Defence and Military Veterans. Education and family life Marais was born on 26 June 1959 as Sarel Jacobus Francois Marais in Worcester, Western Cape, where he lives with his wife and two children. He obtained a Bachelors of Economic and a Master of Business and Administration degree from Stellenbosch University. He also studied at the Cape Wine Academy and completed a Master Mentorship Course with the Department of Agriculture. Early career He started his career in corporate banking and went on to work in the wine industry in 1989 in various capacities including a partnership in a wine exports business. Western Cape
The Western Cape is a province of South Africa, situated on the south-western coast of the country. Rawsonville
Rawsonville is a small wine growing and farming community in the Breede River Valley of the Western Cape province of South Africa. The town forms part of the Breede Valley Local Municipality, and is located in a scenic portion of the valley on the eastern flanks of the Du Toitskloof Mountains. The town is part of the Breedekloof Wine Route and hosts the annual Breedekloof extreme sports festival. The economy remains heavily reliant on serving the agricultural community, however tourism in the form of weekend retreats are becoming more important to the town's income. Sejamothopo "Sej" Motau (born 18 July 1943) is a politician, journalist, communications and corporate affairs expert, and a former Fulbright Scholar. He was South Africa's Shadow Minister of Presidency, and a Member of Parliament for the opposition Democratic Alliance. From 2009 to 2012, he was the Shadow Minister of Energy. Motau is a former journalist with the ''Pretoria News'' and ''The Star'', and holds undergraduate and honours degrees from the University of South Africa, and a master's degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
