Ko Chung Sen
Dr. Ko Chung Sen (; born 1968) is a Malaysian surgeon and politician of Chinese descent. He was the Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for Kepayang from 2018 to 2022. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. A surgeon by profession, he received BAO ''cum laude'' from Trinity College in Dublin. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1999. Ko returned to Malaysia to work as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Penang General Hospital in 2001 and worked there until 2004. He then moved to Ipoh to work in KPJ Specialist Hospital and has been there since then. He was elected to the parliament for Kampar constituency in the 2013 election. The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) is a medical professional and educational institution, which is also known as RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ireland's first private university. The Election Commission of Malaysia ( ms, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia), abbreviated SPR or EC, is a commission set up for ensuring fair and equitable operations in undertaking the elections in Malaysia. Its establishment is mandated by executive order of the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. The agency falls under the purview of the Prime Minister's Department. 2004 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 219 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. 2018 Malaysian General Election
The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat (the legislature's lower house) and 505 seats in 12 out of the 13 state legislative assemblies of Malaysia. Lee Chee Leong
Dato' Lee Chee Leong (; born 22 October 1957) is a Malaysian politician from the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA). He served as one-term Member of Parliament (MP) of Malaysia for Kampar constituency in Perak, Malaysia from March 2008 to May 2013. As MP, he was twice appointed a deputy minister, first at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from April 2008 to June 2010 and later at the Ministry of Home Affairs from June 2010 to May 2013. He is currently serving as the treasurer-general of MCA, having previously been in office as one of four MCA vice-presidents between 2013 and 2018. He is also chairperson of the Kedah MCA state liaison committee and MCA Kampar division. 2013 Malaysian General Election
General elections were held in Malaysia on Sunday, 5 May 2013 to elect the members of the 13th Parliament. Voting took place in all 222 parliamentary constituencies, each electing one MP to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. State elections also took place in 505 state constituencies in 12 of the 13 states (excluding Sarawak) on the same day. The elections were the first since Najib Razak became Prime Minister in 2009.
