Knut Olav Rindarøy
Knut Olav Rindarøy (born 17 July 1985) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played for Molde, Deportivo La Coruña and the Norwegian National Team. Club career Rindarøy began his career with Molde FK in 2003 and appeared in over 200 league matches with the Norwegian club. His play with the club led to interest from various top European sides. On 18 January 2010, Skysports.com reported that Rindarøy was travelling to England for trials with Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United – which was confirmed by Molde director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen. On 20 August 2010 it was reported that he has signed with Spain's Deportivo La Coruña. Rindarøy made his debut for Deportivo La Coruña against Almeria on 26 September 2010. On 29 November 2017, Rindarøy announced his retirement from football due to injuries. Molde () is a town and municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Romsdal. 2011 Molde FK Season
The 2011 season was Molde's 4th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 35th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Molde became league champions for the first time in club history. Molde FK's U19 squad played in the inaugural tournament of the NextGen series. Season events June Start. In Drammen, Molde won 1–0 against Strømsgodset. The 2010 season was Molde's 3rd consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 34th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They competed in Tippeligaen where they finished in 11th position, the Norwegian Cup where they were knocked out in the third round and the UEFA Europa League where they were knocked by Stuttgart in the third qualifying round. The 2006 season was Molde's 31st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. In Tippeligaen they finished 14th and were relegated to the 2007 Norwegian First Division. Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division.
