Knugen Faller
Knugen Faller, is a Swedish punk band from Skellefteå. Formed in 2003. Their style has been compared with Doktor Kosmos, but more punk. Knugen Faller roughly translates into ''The King Falls''. The deliberately misspelled Kungen, Swedish for king, is a common moniker for the king of Sweden, Karl XVI Gustav, referencing the fact that he is dyslexic. History The band formed in late spring 2003 at Umeå's ''Food Not Bombs'', a place where many local punks meet. Three of the members were living together in the same apartment at the time, and some of the members were already playing together in other bands. Since all the band members had been playing in various bands before, the idea was to start a band where every member had to start from scratch by playing an instrument they never played before. Skellefteå
Skellefteå (, locally ) is a Cities in Sweden, city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. The city is historically industrial, with mining being a large part of that industry, especially for gold, leading to the city being nicknamed ''Guldstaden'' ("gold town"). Doktor Kosmos
Doktor Kosmos is a Swedish Pop music, pop band best characterized by the unique style of their humorous lyrics. The lyrics often have social or political themes, and the band is socialist, although not above making fun of their own opinions. One of the gimmicks of the band is recurring characters in their songs. One of these is "Doktor Kosmos" himself ("Doktor Kosmos" simply means "Doctor Cosmos" in Swedish language, Swedish). Doktor Kosmos is at the same time the stage name for the band's front man Uje Brandelius. History Doktor Kosmos was founded in 1991 in Uppsala. The original line-up was Uje Brandelius (synth, vocals), Martin Aagård (guitar), Lina Selleby (vocals) and Catti Brandelius, Catti Larson (vocals). Karl XVI Gustav
Carl XVI Gustaf (Carl Gustaf Folke Hubertus; born 30 April 1946) is King of Sweden. He ascended the throne on the death of his grandfather, Gustaf VI Adolf, on 15 September 1973. He is the youngest child and only son of Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten, and Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. His father died on 26 January 1947 in an airplane crash in Denmark when Carl Gustaf was nine months old. Upon his father's death, he became second in line to the throne, after his grandfather, the then Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf. The (International) Noise Conspiracy
The (International) Noise Conspiracy (abbreviated T(I)NC) were a Swedish rock music, rock band formed in Sweden in the late months of 1998. The line-up consists of Dennis Lyxzén (vocals), Inge Johansson (bass), Lars Strömberg (guitar), and Ludwig Dahlberg (drums). The band is known for its punk rock, punk and garage rock musical influences, and its impassioned left-wing political stance. Up until 2004, guitarist/organist/keyboardist Sara Almgren was also a member of the band. Dennis formed The (I)NC almost immediately after the breakup of his former band, Refused.
