Knorr-Bremse AG is a German manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles that has operated in the field for over 110 years. Other products in Group's portfolio include intelligent door systems, control components, air conditioning systems for rail vehicles, torsional vibration dampers, and transmission control systems for commercial vehicles. Rummelsburg () is a subdivision or neighborhood (''Ortsteil'') of the borough (''Bezirk'') of Lichtenberg of the German capital, Berlin. History Rummelsburg was founded in 1669. MG35/36 Machine Gun
The Kg m/40 was an automatic rifle used by the Swedish Army during the 1940s. A small number were also manufactured in Germany by Knorr-Bremse for the ''Wehrmacht'' and ''Waffen-SS'', under the name MG35/36A, though they were mostly nicknamed "the Knorr-Bremse". The German models were chambered for the higher pressure 7.92×57mm Mauser and weighed 10 kg. The Swedish Kg m/1940 loaded its magazine from the side, similar to the FG 42. It also had the ability to use 20 round magazines from Swedish type M1918 BARs. In 1940 there was a desperate need for machine guns in Sweden. The production rate of Kg m/37 (Swedish BAR variant) was rather slow and not suitable for modern production. The Ringbahn (German for circle railway) is a long circle route around Berlin's inner city area, on the Berlin S-Bahn network. Its course is made up of a double-tracked S-Bahn ring and a parallel freight ring. The S-Bahn lines S41 and S42 provide a closed-loop continuous service without termini. Camillo Castiglioni (22 October 1879 – 18 December 1957) was an Italian-Austrian Jewish financier and banker, and was the wealthiest man in Central Europe during World War I. Bavarian Group Administration
The Bavarian Group Administration or ''Gruppenverwaltung Bayern'' was a largely autonomous railway administration within the Deutsche Reichsbahn (German Imperial Railways) between the two world wars. It was formed on 1 April 1920 from the former Bavarian State Railways, and was unique, Bavaria being the only former German state to have such status after the merger of the seven state railway companies into the Reichsbahn.
