''The Ring'' (often called ''The Ring'' magazine or ''Ring'' magazine) is an American boxing magazine that was first published in 1922 as a boxing and wrestling magazine. As the sporting legitimacy of professional wrestling came more into question, ''The Ring'' shifted to becoming exclusively a boxing-oriented publication. The magazine is currently owned by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Enterprises division of Golden Boy Promotions, which acquired it in 2007. ''Ring'' began publishing annual ratings of boxers in 1924. Eloy Rojas
Eloy David Rojas Leandro (born 25 March 1967) is a Venezuelan former professional boxer in the Featherweight division. Rojas turned pro in 1986 and won the WBA and Lineal Featherweight Titles in 1993 by defeating Yong-Kyun Park by decision. He defended the titles six times before losing them to Wilfredo Vazquez in 1996 via TKO in a fight which he was leading on all cards. Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. Hasim Rahman
Hasim Sharif Rahman (born November 7, 1972) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2014. He is a two-time world heavyweight champion, having held the unified WBC, IBF, IBO and lineal titles in 2001; and the WBC title again from 2005 to 2006. He was ranked as the world's top 10 heavyweight by BoxRec from 2000 to 2005, and reached his highest ranking of world No.6 at the conclusion of 2004. Roberto Garcia Cortez (born January 29, 1975) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1992 to 2001, and held the IBF junior lightweight title from 1998 to 1999. Benjamin Tackie (born 23 July 1973) is a Ghanaian professional boxer and world title challenger. He is known for his excellent chin and ability to throw a high volume of punches. Derrick Lavon Jefferson (born March 10, 1968) is an American former professional boxer. He challenged once for the WBO title in 2001, and is perhaps best remembered for his brutal left hook-knockout of Maurice Harris in 1999.
