''Knockout at the Breakfast Club'' (Swedish: ''Stjärnsmäll i Frukostklubben'') is a 1950 Swedish comedy film directed by Gösta Bernhard and starring Sigge Fürst, Åke Söderblom and Irene Söderblom.Qvist & Von Bagh p.39 It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Bibi Lindström. It was based on a popular radio series. Synopsis A young screenwriter is trying to sell a script about a crime film to a director, but a series of mix-ups ensue including the involvement of an irate ex- boxer who jealously believes his wife is having an affair. Gösta Bernhard
Gösta Bernhard (26 September 1910 – 4 January 1986) was a Swedish actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 30 films between 1936 and 1975. He also directed 17 films between 1947 and 1975. He was born in Västervik, Kalmar County, Sweden and died in Stockholm, Sweden. Biography At a young age, Gösta Bernhard was called "Västervik's Karl Gerhard", comparing him to the famous revue actor. Bernhard was a skilled lyricist and came to be responsible for a number of revues. In 1930 he moved to Stockholm. As early as 1933, he met Stig Bergendorff and the two began a collaboration, first with Bellevue-Fredhällsrevyn, which was run by two sports clubs, then under joint auspices with the so-called crazy revues in 1941–1963 at the now demolished Casinoteatern at Bryggargatan in Stockholm. Sven Allan Amandus Arefeldt, born ''Forsberg'' (29 December 1908 – 17 August 1956), was a Swedish musician, singer and composer. Arefeldt was born in Stockholm, and spent parts of his youth in Lindesberg, Västmanland. He learned to play the violin at an early age, but soon switched to the piano. In 1924, at age 15, he formed the jazz orchestra TOGO (The Original Green Orchestra). From the late 1920s, Arefeldt played with several jazz orchestras in different music venues in Stockholm. Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt (24 February 1921 – 16 January 1992) was a Swedish comedian and actor. History He grew up in Kungsholmen in Stockholm, where there now is a street named after him. His father was a Social Democratic politician and Carl-Gustaf started his acting in a socialist youth theater club. From the 1940s, he was associated at the Casinorevyn ensemble at Casinoteatern on Bryggargatan in Stockholm. Lindstedt quickly became one of the crowd favorites at the theater. Here he met Arne Kallerud (1913-1981), who became Lindstedt's stage partner in many revues, films and radio shows. Their radio series became a success in the late 1950s.
