Jay Kleven
Jay Allen Kleven (December 2, 1949 – June 30, 2009) was a Major League Baseball player in 1976 for the New York Mets. He played in 2 games as a catcher that year due to injuries to starting catcher Jerry Grote and second-string catcher Ron Hodges. Kleven singled in his next to final at bat as a major leaguer, going one for five for his career. This lone hit of his career drove in two runs against future Hall-of Famer Bruce Sutter. Elisa Kleven
Elisa Kleven is an American children's writer and illustrator of 30 books. She grew up in Los Angeles and currently resides near San Francisco. Her titles have been Booklist editor's choices, and PBS and Rainbow Book selections. Career Kleven has written several children's books including the ''Paper Princess'' series, ''The Puddle Pail'' and ''The Lion and the Little Red Bird''. Her first book was ''Ernst'', a story about a creative crocodile named Ernst, whose tendency to wonder "what if" mirrors the author's own. In addition to writing her own books, Kleven has also illustrated books by other writers, such as ''Abuela'' by Arthur Dorros, ''De Colores'' by Jose Luis Orozco, ''Angels Watching Over Me'' by Julia Durano, and ''The Weaver'' by Thacher Hurd. Endre Johannes Cleven
Endre Johannes Cleven (May 8, 1874 – July 3, 1916) was a Norwegian-born American Canadian who was prominent in the settlement and culture of Norwegian immigrants in Manitoba, Canada, during the early 20th century. Chiavenna ( lmo, Ciavèna ; la, Clavenna; rm, Clavenna or ''Claven''; archaic german: Cläven or ''Kleven'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the northern Italian region of Lombardy. It is the centre of the Alpine Valchiavenna region. The historic town is a member of the Cittaslow movement. Geography Chiavenna is located about north of Milan and about northwest of Sondrio. The town is situated on the right bank of the river Mera about north of Lake Como. The river course leads up to Val Bregaglia in the east and the Swiss border at Castasegna. In the north, the Valle Spluga stretches up to Passo dello Spluga and the road to Chur in the Grisons.
