Joanna Cargill, also known as Frenzy, is a fictional character (arts), character, a Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant superhuman appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She has been a member of supervillain groups, including the Alliance of Evil and the Acolytes (comics), Acolytes, as well as the superhero team, the X-Men. Publication history Frenzy first appeared in ''X-Factor (comics), X-Factor'' #4 (May 1986) as a member of the Alliance of Evil, and was created by Bob Layton and Keith Pollard. Though Joanna Cargill's first and last name have been spelled with variations such as Johanna or Cargil, her name was first mentioned in ''The Uncanny X-Men'' #298 as Joanna Cargill. Thomas "Tom" Corsi is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, most often appearing in X-Men stories. Tom first appeared in ''The New Mutants'' #19 (1984) and was created by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz. Fictional character biography The Attack of the Demon Bear Tom Corsi was a member of the police department in Westchester County. The Demon Bear carried out an attack on Dani Moonstar. After her attack, the New Mutants brought Dani to the Mid-County Medical Center. At the hospital, Tom and Sharon Friedlander, an ER nurse, were kidnapped and possessed by the Demon Bear. The Demon Bear attempted to transform Corsi and Friedlander into his demonic slaves. After the New Mutants defeated the bear, Tom and Sharon were returned to their natural human form, though a couple of physical changes. Magneto (; birth name: Max Eisenhardt; alias: Erik Lehnsherr and Magnus) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with the X-Men. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby, the character first appears in '' The X-Men'' #1 (cover-dated September 1963) as an adversary of the X-Men.
