Klavdiya Boyarskikh
Klavdiya Sergeyevna Boyarskikh (russian: Клавдия Сергеевна Боярских; 11 November 1939 – 12 December 2009) was a Soviet cross-country skier who competed in the 1960s. In 1964, Boyarskikh won her first Soviet titles, in the 5 km and relay, and was selected for the Olympic Games. There she ran the fastest leg of the 3 × 5 km relay, and became the first female cross-country skier to win all Olympic events. In 1966, she won two more national titles, in the 5 and 10 km, as well as two world titles. Next year she had her last two national victories, in the 5 km and relay. She also won three times at the Holmenkollen ski festival with two wins in 10 km (1965, 1966) and one win in the 5 km (1967). Boyarskikh retired in 1968 and until her death worked as a skiing coach with Lokomotiv Sverdlovsk. Verkhnyaya Pyshma
Verkhnyaya Pyshma (russian: Ве́рхняя Пышма́) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located north of Yekaterinburg. Population: History It was founded in 1660 as the village ('' selo'') of Pyshminskoye, which was named after the Pyshma River. A copper mine opened here in 1856. Town status was granted to it in 1946. Town development in 20th century is closely related to copper production. The factory called Uralelectromed developed here and in 1990s it became the main company of UMMC holding. The company Ural Locomotives is also located there, it produces modern Russian locomotives and trains such as 2ES10 (the most powerful Russian locomotive) and Lastochka suburban EMU based on Siemens Desiro. Holmenkollen Ski Festival Winners
Holmenkollen () is a mountain and a neighbourhood in the Vestre Aker borough of Oslo, Norway. It goes up to above sea level and is well-known for its international skiing competitions. Overview In addition to being a residential area, the area has been a ski recreation area since the late 19th century, with its famous ski jumping hill, the Holmenkollbakken, hosting competitions since 1892. To the north, the area borders to the woodlands area Marka. The Holmenkoll Line of the Oslo Metro runs through the neighborhood, serving the stations Besserud and Holmenkollen.
