Kjersti Alveberg
Kjersti Alveberg (26 July 1948 – 19 October 2021) was a Norwegian choreographer and dancer. Over the last 30 years of her career she created ballets for stage and television and won prestigious awards for her work. Early life Kjersti Alveberg began to dance at the age of four, but not until she was 19 she took the decisive step of starting her dance studies at Norwegian National Academy of Ballet in Oslo, working at the same time at Chat Noir as a dancer. Aiming at sociology she went on to study dance in New York City, Amsterdam, London and Paris before attending the Nansen Academy. For several years she was a freelance dancer at the Oslo theatres, in fringe groups and in television. For 5 years she was a dancer, actor and singer at Det Norske Teatret doing musicals and plays, also working in TV and in fringe dance companies. Kjersti Horn (born 30 June 1977) is a Norwegian theater director and storyboard artist, the daughter of scenographer Per Kristian Horn (born 1941) and the actor, theater director and politician for the Norwegian Labour Party (AP), Ellen Horn (b. Stoesen in 1951), partner with Sound designer and composer Erik Hedin (born 1974, two children), and half sister of Jazz singer and actor Emilie Stoesen Christensen (born 1986). Kjersti Aasan Stubø (born 25 April 1970) is a Norwegian Jazz musician vocalist, daughter and musical successor of Jazz guitarist Thorgeir Stubø (1943–1986), mother of elektronica musician Mathias Stubø (b. 1992), and sister of Jazz guitarist Håvard and theatre director Eirik Stubø. Career Stubø was born in Narvik, and studied jazz on the Jazz program at the Trondheim Music Conservatory (1991–93). Aged 14 she performed with her father, Thorgeir, who died from cancer two years later. During her studies in Trondheim she established her own Jazz orchestra ''Kjersti Stubø Band'' in 1991. Kjersti Stenseng (born 4 September 1974) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She finished her secondary education at Vinstra Upper Secondary School in 1993. She minored in sociology and modern history at the Nord-Trøndelag University College and Lillehammer University College before studying political science and history at the University of Oslo. She also took teacher's education and worked as a teacher in Kvam and Vinstra from 1997 to 1999. Kjersti Løken Stavrum (born 1 March 1969) is a Norwegian journalist and editor. Since April 2013, she has been Secretary General of the Norwegian Press Association. Born in Sarpsborg in south-eastern Norway, Stavrum is a graduate in political science. She began her career with the Norwegian newspaper ''Aftenposten'' in 1994. In 2001, she became editor in chief for the weekly women's magazine ''Kvinner og Klær''. Kjersti Annesdatter Skomsvold (born 3 December 1979 in Oslo) is a Norwegian author who made her literary debut in 2009 with the novel ''Jo fortere jeg går, jo mindre er jeg'' (''The Faster I Walk, the Smaller I Am''). Kjersti Markusson (born 13 April 1955) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party. She has spent most of her professional career in the school system, and has been active in the trade union Union of Education Norway. Kjersti Holmen (8 February 1956 – 26 September 2021) was a Norwegian actress. She was born on Nøtterøy, and later moved to Alnabru, where she grew up with her parents and two sisters. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1980, and was employed at the National Theatre since 1981 – permanently since 1992.
