Kjell Knops
Kjell Maria-Goretti Mathieu Knops (born 21 July 1987) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a centre back. He began his professional career with Roda JC Kerkrade in 2008 before dropping into amateur football with EVV for the 2010–11 season. He then moved up to the Eerste Divisie for a five-year spell at MVV, who he also captained. He left the Netherlands and travelled to England to join Port Vale in June 2016. He spent two years with the club but missed the entirety of the 2017–18 season due to injury. He returned to the Netherlands and signed with Helmond Sport in August 2018 and then joined Groene Ster in June 2019. He signed with EHC in May 2020. Heerlen (; li, Heële ) is a city and a municipality in the southeast of the Netherlands. It is the third largest settlement proper in the province of Limburg. Achilles '29
Achilles '29 is a football club from Groesbeek, Netherlands, competing in the sixth-tier Eerste Klasse. The club is known for its successes in the Dutch domestic cup, having knocked FC Volendam, Heracles Almelo, RKC Waalwijk, Telstar and MVV Maastricht out of the KNVB Cup. Professional Foul
In various sports, a professional foul is a deliberate act of foul play intended to bring about an advantage for the perpetrator's team. Penalty cards are used in many sports as a means of warning, reprimanding or penalising a player, coach or team official. Penalty cards are most commonly used by referees or umpires to indicate that a player has committed an offence. The official will hold the card above their head while looking or pointing towards the player that has committed the offence. 2011–12 Eerste Divisie
The 2011–12 Eerste Divisie, known as Jupiler League for sponsorship reasons, was the fifty-sixth season of Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1955. It began in August 2011 with the first matches of the season and ended in June 2012 with the ''nacompetitie'', a promotion-and-relegation tournament also involving the 16th- and 17th-placed teams from the 2011–12 Eredivisie. The competition was won by FC Zwolle on 13 April 2012, after drawing FC Eindhoven 0–0 at home in their 32nd match of the season. René Trost
René Hubertus Johannes Trost (born 31 January 1965 in Kerkrade, Limburg) is a former Dutch football defender and football manager. Career As a player, he played fifteen seasons at Roda JC; in between he spent half a season on loan at VVV-Venlo. He played 323 professional matches and scored 23 goals in them. As a manager, he was assistant at Roda JC from 1998 to 2005. He then managed Patro Maasmechelen in Belgium, before replacing Paul Put at Lierse SK after Put was named in a bribery case. In 2006–07 he resigned after he won two points out of twelve matches at the start of the season. At the end of December he started at Belgian second division club United Overpelt-Lommel, only to resign two months later on 25 February after a series of bad results. Dijkse Boys was a Dutch amateur association football club from Helmond. The club was founded on May 8, 1948 and has played at amateur level in all its history, making it the second team in the town after professional crosstown rivals Helmond Sport. The club was part of the Hoofdklasse league in the 2009–10 season, completing it in fifth place in the Sunday B group, and then winning promotion to the newly established Topklasse league for the inaugural 2010–11 season through playoffs. Amsterdamsche Football Club, known as AFC, is a football club from Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is currently playing in the Tweede Divisie, the third tier of football in the Netherlands. History 19th century: Foundation AFC was founded in 1895 when a group of young Amsterdammers decided to create a football club. The Derde Divisie (; en, Third Division), formerly known as Topklasse (; en, Top Class), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17.
