Kjartan Poskitt
Kjartan Poskitt (born 15 May 1956 in York) is a British author and TV presenter who is best known for writing the ''Murderous Maths'' children's series of books. Early life and education Poskitt was born in York, England, grew up in Selby, Yorkshire and was educated at the Selby Abbey School, at Terrington Hall, North Yorkshire, and at Bootham School, York, before studying engineering at Collingwood College, Durham University. Career Poskitt was a member of a comedy group while at Durham University, and toured with it to the US in 1979, playing the piano and singing, performing skits and doing a ventriloquist act with a dummy which wouldn't speak. He participated in the National Student Drama Festival from 1976-1980, and also performed solo at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 1979 to 1981. Rosie And Jim
''Rosie and Jim'' (sometimes written as ''Rosie & Jim'') is a British children's television programme which was produced by Ragdoll Productions and aired on ITV from 3 September 1990 to 16 May 2000. The programme was then repeated periodically on CITV until August 2004. In January 2013, CITV aired the first episode, Locks, as part of the channel's 30th anniversary Old Skool Weekend. Story Rosie and Jim are two rag dolls who live aboard a narrowboat called the ''Ragdoll'', which is from Birmingham. There, they sit with a concertina on their lap and come alive when no one is looking to explore the world that they pass by on rivers and canals across England. They learn to experience things by following the ''Ragdoll''s owner on his or her adventures, and secretly joining in with them. Brum (TV Series)
''Brum'' (), is a British children's television series about the adventures of a small, sentient vintage car. The series was originally narrated by Toyah Willcox, who also provided the voice for Brum and all the characters. The show aired for three series between 1991 and 2002 with two revived CGI series airing on YouTube in 2016. The show was first aired on BBC One on the children's block, Children's BBC (CBBC) and later on CBeebies. Set in Birmingham, England and produced by Ragdoll Productions, ''Brum'' was first broadcast in 1991 and the last live-action series was broadcast in 2002. It was initially directed, written and produced by Anne Wood and initially narrated by Toyah Willcox who also provided the voice for Brum and all the characters in story form.
