Kitō-ryū
is a traditional school ('' koryū'') of the Japanese martial art of jujutsu. Its syllabus comprises ''atemi-waza'' (striking techniques), ''nage-waza'' (throwing techniques), ''kansetsu-waza'' (joint locking techniques) and ''shime-waza'' (choking techniques). The style is focused on throws and sweeps, and many of these techniques are designed to be performed while in full armor. Origin Kitō Ryū is translated as "the school of the rise and fall." It is similar to forms of " Aikijutsu," including the principle of " ki" (energy) and aiki (Kitō Ryū teaches that "When two minds are united, the stronger controls the weaker"...). Maaike Kito Lebbing, known professionally as Kito, is an Australian record producer, songwriter and DJ currently based in Los Angeles, California. Kito originally debuted in 2009 on Skream's record label Disfigured Dubz. After independently releasing an EP in 2018 called ''Haani'', Lebbing debuted under Astralwerks/Capitol, releasing singles featuring Empress Of, AlunaGeorge, Fletcher, Zhu and Jeremih. She has created official remixes for Beyoncé's "Run the World (Girls)" (2011), Broods' "Too Proud" (2019) and Wafia's "Flowers and Superpowers" (2019), and produced music for musicians such as Mabel, Jorja Smith, Banks and Ruel, and in 2019 was nominated for the Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year (Los Angeles) at the 2020 Global APRA Music Awards. Kito Lorenc
Kito Lorenc (4 March 1938 – 24 September 2017) was a German writer, lyric poet and translator. He was a grandson of the writer and politician Jakub Lorenc-Zalěski. Lorenc attended the Sorbian boarding high school in Cottbus from 1952 to 1956 and majored in Slavic studies in Leipzig from 1956 to 1961. He was an employee at the Institute for Sorbian People Research in Bautzen between 1961 and 1972. From 1972 until 1979, he worked as a dramaturge at the State Ensemble for Sorbian People's Culture. Kito Lorenc was a member of the Sächsischen Akademie der Künste and lived as a freelance writer in Wuischke by Hochkirch.
