Kōji Kitao
was a Japanese professional sumo wrestler and professional wrestler, born in Mie. As he was sumo's 60th ''yokozuna'', and the only one in sumo history not to win a top division tournament championship. He was forced to leave sumo at the end of 1987 after a falling-out with his stable master Tatsunami, and became a professional wrestler in 1990. He also had a short film career as an actor, portraying a sumo wrestler in Jean-Claude Van Damme's 1996 martial arts film The Quest. is a Japanese animator known for his work with Madhouse. Primarily a key animator and animation director for anime television series, Kitao has also on occasion done character designs. Recently, he has won much praise for his adapted character designs for the popular ''Death Note'' TV series. Consequently, ''Death Note'' has become his best known work. is a Japanese economist and professor at the University of Tokyo. Career Kitao was born on 1972 , in Saitama, Japan. She graduated from Waseda University in 1996. Kitao Shigemasa
was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist from Edo. He was one of the leading printmakers of his day, but his works have been slightly obscure. He is noted for images of beautiful women (''bijinga''). He was taught by Shigenaga and has been referred to as "a chameleon" who adopted to changing styles. He was less active after the rise of Torii Kiyonaga and produced relatively few works considering the length of his career. He is also noted for his haikai (poetry) and shodō (Japanese calligraphy).
