Kita Mean
Nick Nash (born 14 April 1986), better known by the stage name Kita Mean, is a New Zealand drag performer best known for hosting ''House of Drag'' and winning the first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under''. Career Kita and Anita Wigl'it were both judges on the New Zealand drag competition show ''House of Drag'' from 2018 to 2020, where they became known as the duo Kita and Anita. The two queens started a monthly event called ''Drag Wars'' for local New Zealand drag artists to perform and they co-own the Caluzzi Cabaret and Phoenix Venue in Auckland. In March 2021, Kita and Anita were announced as competitors on the first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under''. Kita won the makeover challenge in episode 6, which involved giving a rugby player a makeover, and landed in the bottom two in episode 7, sending home Elektra Shock. RuPaul's DragCon LA
RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." Elektra Shock
James Luck (born 30 September 1992), better known by the stage name Elektra Shock, is a New Zealand drag performer best known for competing on the first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under'' and the second season of '' House of Drag. Early life Luck was born in England and raised in Invercargill, New Zealand where he attended Southland Boys' High School. He studied dance at the Urban Dance Centre in Sydney, Australia. Career Luck has worked as a backup dancer for acts such as Sia, Jesse James, and Little Mix. He was a backup dancer in the 2012 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremony for Annie Lennox. Spankie Jackzon is the stage name of Blair Macbeth (born 4 November 1984), a New Zealand drag performer. She is best known for winning the second season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under'' in 2022. Previously, in 2020, she also won the second season of the New Zealand television series ''House of Drag''. Career Jackzon is based in Palmerston North. She started performing in drag as early as 2005, eventually moving to Melbourne in the late 2010s to develop a career in the city's nightlight scene; at one point in her career, she hosted eight different club residences simultaneously in the city of Melbourne. The Isaac Theatre Royal (formerly known as the Theatre Royal) is a heritage building in Christchurch, New Zealand, designed by brothers Sidney and Alfred Luttrell. Built in 1908, it is the only operational Edwardian style Theatre remaining in New Zealand. History The current Theatre Royal is the third theatre of its name on Gloucester Street. The first theatre, built in 1861, was on a site across the road from the current Theatre Royal. It was originally called the Canterbury Music Hall.
