''Kiss the Ring '' is the sixth studio album by American disc jockey and record producer DJ Khaled. It was released under We the Best Music Group, Terror Squad Entertainment, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and Universal Republic Records on August 21, 2012. The album was supported by the singles "Take It to the Head" which peaked at number 58 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and " I Wish You Would" which peaked at number 78 on the Billboard Hot 100. Khaled Mohammed Khaled (born November 26, 1975), known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, record producer and rapper. Khaled first gained recognition as a radio host in the 1990s on the radio station WEDR, 99 Jamz, and translated his popularity by working with hip hop collective Terror Squad (group), Terror Squad as a DJ for their live performances. After gaining production credits on the group's material, Khaled released his debut studio album ''Listennn... the Album'' in 2006, which earned gold certification. The Runners are an American electronic and hip hop production duo from Orlando, Florida, consisting of Andrew "Dru Brett" Harr and Jermaine "Mayne Zayne" Jackson. They came together to form the team in 2000, but they have known each other since they were in kindergarten. They both have been influenced their entire lives by producers Timbaland and the Neptunes. Their trademark is an exhale sound effect ringing "Ahhh" at the beginning of their songs. Algernod Lanier Washington (born July 1, 1976), better known by his stage name Plies, is an American rapper. Born in Fort Myers, Florida, Plies was a wide receiver on the Miami Redskins football team of Miami University in Ohio in 1996 and 1997 before beginning his musical career.
