Kiss World Tour 2008
The Alive 35 World Tour was a 2008–2009 concert tour by Kiss to celebrate their 35th anniversary. It was the band's first major tour since the Rock the Nation World Tour in 2004. On the tour, Kiss played in Europe for the first time since the Psycho Circus World Tour in 1999. Kiss wore ''Destroyer''-themed costumes for the tour, but the majority of the songs played were on '' Alive!''. The tour was highly successful and proved to be Kiss's biggest tour of Europe. This tour marked the first time Kiss visited Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Russia, Luxembourg, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. Three legs and 38 shows were announced. Rudolf Weber-Arena
The Rudolf Weber-Arena (originally the Arena Oberhausen) is a multi-purpose arena, located in Oberhausen, Germany. Opening in 1996, the arena is a part of leisure and shopping center, CentrO. The venue was built in Neue Mitte Oberhausen, a former industrial plant. In November 2001, König Brauerei, a brewery in Duisburg purchased naming rights to the arena. In December 2021, the arena's naming rights were purchased by Essen-based cleaning company Rudolf Weber GmbH. Configuration The maximum capacity of the arena is 12.650, where the seating is arranged on two levels. It is also possible to have a center stage configuration, 12.000 people can attend such events. ''Hotter than Hell'' is the second studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on October 22, 1974, by Casablanca Records. It was certified gold on June 23, 1977, having shipped 500,000 copies. The album was re-released in 1997 in a remastered version. It peaked on the ''Billboard'' 200 charts at No. 100, without the benefit of a hit single. Many of the album's songs are live staples for the band, including "Parasite", " Hotter than Hell", "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" and "Watchin' You". Composition and recording The production team of Kenny Kerner and Richie Wise, who had produced the group's first album, was again chosen for the follow-up. "Hotter than Hell" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss, released on their second album of the same name in 1974. It was written by the band's rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley, and displays the heavy influence of the band Free. Despite being rarely performed during the years, "Hotter than Hell" has appeared on many of the band's albums. It has also appeared as a B-side to the album's lone single, "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll". "Deuce" is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss, written by bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons. The song appeared on Kiss' eponymous 1974 debut album. In addition to being one of the band's most popular and most-covered songs, "Deuce" is a traditional concert opener. The song has appeared on many Kiss live and compilation albums. The tour began on January 31, 2019, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada and is set to conclude on December 2, 2023 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, United States.
