Kirstin Taylor Maldonado (born May 16, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is best known as the mezzo-soprano of the a cappella group Pentatonix. With the group, she has released seven studio albums, won three Grammy Awards, and sold over six million albums. Pentatonix (abbreviated PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, currently consisting of vocalists Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion, and beatboxing, they produce cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material. Kirstin Gove (formerly Haggarty, born 1973) is a Scottish PR & media consultant, who previously worked as a broadcast journalist and presenter for STV North (formerly Grampian Television). Gove was born in Glasgow but moved to Aberdeen at the age of three. Both of her parents are former full-time teachers in Aberdeen. Gove attended Ashley Road Primary School and Aberdeen Grammar School, and graduated in 1995 with a MA Honours degree in German and International Relations. Kirstin Jean Lewis (born 1975) is a South African archer. She represented South Africa at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2004, she placed 52nd in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 606. In the first round of elimination, she faced 13th-ranked Dola Banerjee of India.
