Kirsti Lay
Kirsti Lay (born 7 April 1988) is a Canadian former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally for UCI Women's Team between 2016 and 2019. She rode at the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, winning a bronze medal in the Team Pursuit. In 2016, she was named in Canada's 2016 Olympic team. She won the bronze medal in the team pursuit event. Prior to taking up cycling Lay was a speed skater, competing at the World Junior Speed Skating Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and at the 2009 Winter Universiade. Personal life Lay is married to Canadian former speed skater Mathieu Giroux. Allison Beveridge (born 1 June 1993) is a Canadian professional racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Women's Continental Team . She rode at the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, winning bronze medals in the team pursuit and the scratch race. Cycling At The 2015 Pan American Games
Cycling competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held July 10 to 25, 2015 at four different venues. The BMX competitions took place at the Centennial Park Pan Am BMX Centre in Toronto, the mountain biking competitions happened at the Hardwood Ski and Bike (Hardwood Mountain Bike Park) in Oro-Medonte, due to naming rights the venue was known as the latter for the duration of the games. The road races happened in the streets of Downtown Toronto with the start and finish being adjacent to the Ontario Place West Channel. Finally the track cycling events occurred at the Milton Velodrome in Milton. The road cycling time trials happened in the streets surrounding the velodrome (Milton Time Trial Course). Mathieu Giroux (born 2 March 1986) is a Canadian speed-skater. He shared medals at team pursuit medals at world cup races in Calgary and Salt Lake City in 2009. The 2009 Winter Universiade, the XXIV Winter Universiade took place in Harbin, China. Student athletes from 44 countries took part in the games.
