Kirk Broadfoot
Kirk John Broadfoot (born 8 August 1984) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Lowland League club Open Goal Broomhill. Broadfoot started his senior career with St Mirren and he helped the club gain promotion to the Scottish Premier League by winning the 2005–06 Scottish First Division. He moved to Rangers as a free agent in 2007 and enjoyed success with the Ibrox club until he left Rangers by mutual consent in August 2012. Broadfoot then joined English club Blackpool, but was released by them in May 2014, moving on to Rotherham. In 2017 he returned to Scotland and joined Kilmarnock, spending two full seasons with the club. Broadfoot returned to St Mirren in September 2019, but in January 2020 he moved back to Kilmarnock. After a year with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Broadfoot signed for Open Goal Broomhill in July 2022. Alan Hutton (born 30 November 1984) is a Scottish former professional association football, footballer who played as a right back (association football), right back. Hutton started his career with Rangers F.C., Rangers, and won the 2004–05 Scottish Premier League, league title in 2005. He moved to English football with Tottenham Hotspur F.C., Tottenham Hotspur in 2008, and helped them win the League Cup later that year. Kevin McGowne
Kevin McGowne (born 16 December 1969 in Kilmarnock) is a Scottish former professional footballer. Kevin McGowne was a defender who began his career at St Mirren in 1991. He joined St Johnstone in 1992 and spent four seasons with the saints before being signed by Kilmarnock by Alex Totten. He spent six years with Kilmarnock and helped them lift the 1997 Scottish Cup after beating Falkirk in the final. Dundee United was his next destination in 2002 but he spent just one season at Tannadice, making 12 league appearances. He had a short spell with Partick Thistle in 2003 before re-joining St Mirren the same year. He helped St Mirren return to the Scottish Premier League by winning promotion in 2005–06. Drongan
Drongan is a former mining village in East Ayrshire, some east of Ayr and west of Cumnock. About 1760, the Drongan Estate was purchased by the Smith family – who built Drongan House, set up a pottery near Coalhall and introduced pioneering agricultural improvements.
