Kiriko Nananan
is a Japanese manga artist from Tsubame, Niigata. Nananan is famous for her realistic ''josei'' work featuring understated artwork with a sense of detachment. In addition, she has affiliated herself with the "La nouvelle manga" movement. Her first work was published in ''Garo'' in 1993. Three of her works have been made into live-action movies: ''Blue'' (2001), ''Strawberry Shortcakes'' (2006), and ''Pumpkin and Mayonnaise'' (2017). At the Angoulême International Comics Festival 2008, she won the ''Prix de l'école supérieure de l'image''. Style Kiriko Nananan says she is obsessed with seeing everything in-between the lines. She uses the spaces in the panels/the backgrounds, as characters to suggest feelings such as hope or emptiness. Kiriko Takemura ( Japanese: 竹村 桐子, born January 29, 1993), known professionally as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (Hiragana: きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ), is a Japanese tarento, singer, and model. Her public image is associated with Japan's '' kawaii'' and '' decora'' culture, centered in the Harajuku neighborhood of Tokyo. Kyary's music is produced by musician Yasutaka Nakata of electronic music duo Capsule. Her 2011 single " PONPONPON" reached the top ten on Japan's Oricon music chart; the 2012 singles " Candy Candy" and " Fashion Monster" followed this success. Kiriko (Overwatch)
is a fictional playable character in the ''Overwatch'' media franchise. Her first appearance was in '' Overwatch 2'', a 2022 first-person shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Kiriko's character design and gameplay mechanics draw from the imagery found in Japanese folklore and Shinto folk religion. In the game's lore, her mother trained her to be a ninja, while her grandmother taught her about spirituality and her ancestry. Combining her two matriarchal influences, Kiriko carries the power of a ''kitsune'', which she uses to protect her native Kanezaka, a fictional Japanese city. Satsuma Kiriko
is a style of cut glass, now a traditional Japanese craft. It was manufactured by the Satsuma clan from the final years of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period (1868–1912). Today, faithful reproductions are produced. History Shimazu Narioki (1791–1859), a feudal lord of the Edo period, invited glass craftsmen from Edo (now Tokyo) to produce Satsuma kiriko. The manufacturing methods were based on foreign books from Nagasaki. Narioki’s son Shimazu Nariakira introduced it into his Shuseikan Enterprise, the first western-style industrial enterprise in Japan, with factories that produced steel, textiles, and other products. The cut glass was very advanced craftwork. Nariakira was extremely fond of it, and sent it to other feudal lords as presents.
