Kirby Mutton
Kirby Mutton (born 17 September 1984), also known as Kirby Morley, is a former Australian netball player. Mutton played for both AIS Canberra Darters and Adelaide Thunderbirds during the Commonwealth Bank Trophy era. Mutton also played for Contax in the South Australia state league and was a member of five premiership winning teams. Between 2003 and 2005, she represented Australia at under-21 level. Playing career Contax Between 1996 and 2012, Mutton played for Contax. She was a member of Contax teams that won South Australia state league titles in 2002, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. Her 2002 teammates at Contax included Natalie von Bertouch, Carla Dziwoki and Lauren Nourse. In 2006 she received the club's 10 Year Service Award. In 2010 she received the state league's best and fairest award. In both 2010 and 2011 she was included in the state league's team of the year. Contax Netball Club are an netball in Australia, Australian netball team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Their senior team currently plays in the Netball South Australia Premier League. Sydney Swifts were an Australian netball team based in Sydney. Between 1997 and 2007, they represented Netball New South Wales in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy league. Together with Sydney Sandpipers and Hunter Jaegers, they were one of three teams to represent NNSW in the competition. After Melbourne Phoenix, Swifts were the league's second most successful team, winning four premierships and three minor premierships. Contax Netball Club Players
Contax (stylised as CONTAX in the Kyocera era) began as a German camera model in the Zeiss Ikon line in 1932, and later became a brand name. The early cameras were among the finest in the world, typically featuring high quality Zeiss interchangeable lenses. The final products under the Contax name were a line of 35 mm, medium format, and digital cameras engineered and manufactured by Japanese multinational Kyocera, and featuring modern Zeiss optics. In 2005, Kyocera announced that it would no longer produce Contax cameras. The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is the Australian Government commission responsible for supporting and investing in sport in Australia. The Commission incorporates the Australian Institute of Sport. From 2018 to 2022, it was known as Sport Australia. The 2009 Adelaide Thunderbirds season saw Adelaide Thunderbirds compete in the 2009 ANZ Championship. 2008 ANZ Championship Season
The 2008 ANZ Championship season was the inaugural season of the ANZ Championship. The 2008 season began on 5 April and concluded on 28 July. Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic were minor premiers after finishing top of the table following the regular season. New South Wales Swifts, with a team coached by Julie Fitzgerald and captained by Catherine Cox, won 10 of their 13 matches and finished second behind Magic. Swifts subsequently defeated Magic in both the major semi–final and the grand final to become the inaugural ANZ Championship winners. The grand final was played on 28 July at Acer Arena.
