''Kirby's Dream Land 3'' is a platform game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Starring Kirby, it is the fifth installment in the ''Kirby'' series and the third game under the ''Kirby's Dream Land'' name. Although the first game was largely unrelated, ''Dream Land 3'' features many similar characters to '' Dream Land 2''. ''Dream Land 3'' was followed by '' Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards'' in 2000. ''Kirby's Dream Land 3'' was the last SNES game published by Nintendo in North America. formerly shortened as HALKEN (derived from its native name), is a Japanese video game developer founded on 21 February 1980. While independent, it has been closely tied with Nintendo throughout its history, and is often referred to as a second-party developer for the company. ''Kirby Super Star'', released as ''Kirby's Fun Pak'' in PAL regions, is an anthology platform video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic.
