Kintrishi River
The Kintrishi ( ka, კინტრიში) is a river in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara in southwestern Georgia. The Kintrishi rises in the Meskheti Range near Mount Khino, at an elevation of above sea level. It flows through the municipality Kobuleti. It flows initially in a westerly direction through the mountains. North of the river is the Kintrishi National Park, south of the Mtirala National Park. The Kintrishi passes the village of Chino and takes on the left tributary of Cherkena. The river then turns north and cuts through a mountain range. Later it turns west again. In the coastal plain it still takes on the Kinkischa on the left side and finally reached on the southern outskirts of Kobuleti by a spit almost completely separated from the Black Sea estuary, in which also flows from the southeast inflowing Dechwa. Black Sea
The Black Sea is a marginal mediterranean sea of the Atlantic Ocean lying between Europe and Asia, east of the Balkans, south of the East European Plain, west of the Caucasus, and north of Anatolia. It is bounded by Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. The Black Sea is supplied by major rivers, principally the Danube, Dnieper, and Don. Kobuleti
Kobuleti ( ka, ქობულეთი ) is a town in Adjara, western Georgia, situated on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. It is the seat of Kobuleti Municipality and a seaside resort, visited annually by Georgians and many former Soviet Union residents. It is especially popular with Armenian tourists. Meskheti Range
Meskheti Range ( ka, მესხეთის ქედი) (Meskh/Meskhet/Meskhetian Range, Adzhar-Imereti Range, Achara-Imereti Range Adzhar-Akhaltsikh Range also Moschian Mountains) is a part of the Lesser Caucasus mountain range in Meskheti region, in southwestern Georgia. Geography The length of the range is 150 km and the highest point is Mount Mepistskharo at an elevation of 2,850 m above sea level. The Meskheti Range is characterized by high amounts of precipitation. The territory around Mt. Kintrishi National Park
The Kintrishi National Park ( ka, კინტრიშის დაცული ლანდშაფტი) is a protected landscape in Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara, Western Georgia, located at the gorge of the Kintrishi River and was established in 2007. ''Kintrishi Protected Areas'' include Kintrishi National Park and Kintrishi Strict Nature Reserve which was first established in 1959.
