William Ellis Kinsley (born 28 November 1946) is an English musician, who was lead vocalist and bassist with The Merseybeats until 1966 (although he temporarily left the band both to form the Kinsleys) The group disbanded in January 1966 to resurface as a duo called The Merseys. They recorded The McCoys' song " Sorrow" (also covered by David Bowie on his 1973 cover album, ''Pin Ups'') with the band before embarking on a solo career, where he recorded "Bye Bye Baby" (not to be confused with a Four Seasons track of a similar title), a typical Merseybeat tune, followed by the singles "Annabella", and "You Make My Day". Colin Kinsley was the mayor of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada from December 1996 through November 2008, when he chose to retire. He has been a resident of Prince George since 1971. Early years Before he began in public office, Kinsley worked for 30 years in the natural gas industry. Early political career Kinsley served as an alderman from 1984 to 1993. During that time, he also served four years as chairman of the regional district board. Craig Kinsley (born January 19, 1989) is a retired American track and field athlete and 2012 Olympian who competed in the javelin throw, and is now an assistant coach of Brown University track and field. In 2010, he won the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and was named as an Academic All-American by the USATFCCCA. He also placed third at the US National Championships that year. In 2012, he placed third at the Olympic Trials and qualified to represent the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Early life Craig Kinsley was born January 19, 1989, to parents Tom and Andrea. Jessie Catherine Kinsley (March 26, 1858 – February 10, 1938) was an American folk artist known for braidings - an artistic medium of her own devising which grew out of her interest in colonial-style braided rugs. Kinsley began making braidings at the age of 50, and created many pieces for friends and family. One author described her as having "typified the domestic artist”. Kinsley’s works attracted attention, particularly in the Arts and Crafts world. In 1917-18 alone, her creations were displayed prominently in the annual exhibit of the National Society of Craftsmen (New York), the Craftsmen’s Exhibition of the Carnegie Institute (Pittsburgh), and the Applied Arts Exhibition of the Art Institute of Chicago. __NOTOC__ Kinsley is a village in the civil parish of Hemsworth, and the City of Wakefield district of West Yorkshire, England. Kinsley is a rural, ex-mining village. Its neighbouring villages are Fitzwilliam to the north, to which it is conjoined, and Hemsworth to the south-east. The village is on the B6273 Wakefield Road, and approximately from Wakefield to the north-west and a similar distance from the towns of Pontefract and Castleford to the north. The M1 motorway is to the west, and the M62, to the north. A railway station at Fitzwilliam gives access to Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield.
