Kingsley Rajapakse
Kumarasinghe Rajapakse (9 April 1934 – 13 June 1983 කිංස්ලි රාජපක්ෂ), popularly known as Kingsley Rajapakse was a film director and actor in Sri Lankan cinema. Personal life Kumarasinghe was born on 9 April 1934 in Udamadura village, Rikillagaskada, Walapane, Sri Lanka. His father, K. S. D. Rajapaksa was a teacher. His mother Weerasinghe Menike was a housewife. He was educated at St. Sylvester College, Kandy. He had seven brothers including: Wijewardena, Wickramaratne, Premachandra and a sister named Indrani. Among these, Wijewardene Rajapaksa, was involved in cinema, produced the films ''Ran Kurullo'' and ''Rathu Makara'' directed by Kingsley. His brother Premachandra Rajapaksa, was a retired teacher. Nuwara Eliya ( si, නුවර එළිය ; ta, நுவரெலியா) is a city in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. Its name means "city on the plain (table land)" or "city of light". Jayasuriya Arachchige Dona Mary Yvonne Perera, better known as Sandhya Kumari (born 6 January 1945 – died 2 June 1994) was a popular Sri Lankan actress who frequently played femme fatale roles in early Sinhala cinema. Personal life She was born on 6 January 1945 in Colombo. Kumari was married to Upali Perera. Career Kumari's first film role was in the 1963 film ''Adata Wadiya Heta Hondai''. Starring alongside Gamini Fonseka, Jeevarani Kurukulasooriya, Ananda Jayaratne, Nelson Karunagama and Vijitha Mallika, Kumari gained fame with the performance. Don Bhathiyatissa Wijesurendra (තිස්ස විජේසුරේන්ද්ර 3 April 1949 – 11 May 2020), popularly as Tissa Wijesurendra, was a Sri Lankan actor.
