__NOTOC__ The Kingsford Smith PL.7 was an Australian agricultural aircraft designed by Luigi Pellarini and built in the 1950s by Kingsford Smith Aviation Service. Design and development The PL.7 was basically a welded steel tank for the pilot and chemical hopper, on the front was mounted a Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah X radial engine. Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah
The Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah is a seven-cylinder British air-cooled aircraft radial engine of 834 cu in (13.65 L) capacity introduced in 1935 and produced until 1948. Early variants of the Cheetah were initially known as the Lynx Major.Lumsden 2003, p.74. The Cheetah was used to power many British trainer aircraft during World War II including the Avro Anson and Airspeed Oxford. Biplane

The ''Illustrated Encyclopedia of Aircraft'' was a weekly partwork magazine by Aerospace Publishing (an imprint of Orbis Publishing) which was published in the United Kingdom (and sold in other countries too) during the early 1980s. The magazine was intended to eventually make up a multi-volume encyclopedia dedicated to aviation. First issued in 1981, the partwork comprised 216 issues, each of twenty pages (plus the covers), making up eighteen volumes (4280 pages). The first two issues were sold together for the price of one, subsequent issues were sold on their own. Empty binders for each volume (of twelve issues) were also sold. These binders were dark blue in colour and contained the imprint of a Panavia Tornado on the front.
