Kings Of The Evening
''Kings of the Evening'' is a 2007 drama film directed and produced independently by Andrew P. Jones. Plot The story follows main character Homer Hobbs (Tyson Beckford) as he travels in the Great Depression of the 1930s. Hobbs is a young African-American man who concludes his 2-year jail sentence and returns to his bleak hometown with a lack of opportunities. Here he meets four strangers Clarence (Glynn Turman), Gracie (Lynn Whitfield), Benny (Reginald T. Dorsey), Lucy (Linara Washington), all finding themselves in similar positions. Together they participate in activities that provide hope that there is a way to escape, even if just for the evening. Tyson Beckford
Tyson Beckford (born December 19, 1970) is an American model and actor best known as a Ralph Lauren Polo model. He was also the host of both seasons of the Bravo program '' Make Me a Supermodel''. Beckford has been described as one of the most successful black male supermodels of all time, achieving fame and huge contracts similar to the female models that had huge success in the 1990s. Lou Myers (September 26, 1935 – February 19, 2013) was an American actor. Myers was born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, the son of Dorothy Jeffries (née Brown). He was typically typecast as a grumpy old man, but he appeared in many movies, stage plays television sitcoms, and dramas. He got his first break as an understudy in the Broadway play, ''The First Breeze of Summer'' as Reverend Mosley.
