''Kings of Comedy'' is a reality television game show broadcast made by Endemol West for Channel 4. The show is presented by Russell Brand and narrated by Matthew Rudge. The premise was that eight comics lived in a '' Big Brother''-style house to try to determine whether old-school comics or the newer generation are best. The winner (Andrew Maxwell) got the chance to make his own pilot show. Ava Beverley Vidal (; born 1976 in Lambeth, London) is an English comedian. She has taken part in E4's '' Kings of Comedy''. Her career in comedy began on the BBC's ''Urban Sketch Show''. Life and career In 1996, Vidal began working as a prison officer at HM Prison Pentonville in Barnsbury, North London. She was inspired to go into the field by her mother, who worked at HM Prison Holloway. Vidal decided to quit the prison profession in 2001 to go to university and study law. Around this time, she also began writing comedy material. Vidal appeared in ''28 Acts in 28 Minutes'' and '' The Comic Side of 7 Days'' in 2005. Scott Allen Capurro (born December 10, 1962) is an American comedian, writer and actor based in San Francisco. Mick Miller (born 25 February 1950 in Liverpool, England) is an English stand-up comedian who has had a long career on the live comedy circuit, and has a trademark haircut of a bald head with long hair down the sides. Early days Miller was born as Michael Lawton on 25 February 1950 in Liverpool, England. Miller's first ambition was to be a footballer. Stan Boardman
Stanley Boardman (born 7 December 1937) is an English comedian. Early life and career Boardman was evacuated with his family to Wrexham during the Second World War, and after the family returned to their Merseyside home mistakenly thinking the area had escaped the German bombs, his elder brother Tommy was killed in a bombing raid. He had been a keen footballer in his youth and was an apprentice at Liverpool F.C. He signed for Tranmere Rovers as a teenager.
