King Of DDT Tournament
__NOTOC__ The is an annual single elimination professional wrestling tournament held in DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT). After the first two editions in 2004 and 2005, DDT produced four annual King of DDT events from 2006 to 2009 which featured no tournament. The tournament returned in 2009 as the KO-D Openweight Championship Contendership Tournament. In 2011, the tournament reverted to its original name. Though DDT also runs the annual D-Oh Grand Prix tournament, the King of DDT is different in that it is single-elimination, whereas the D-Oh Grand Prix is a round-robin. Like the D-Oh Grand Prix however, the winner of the tournament receives a shot at the KO-D Openweight Championship; this stipulation was added in 2009. Until 2020, the KO-D Openweight Champion at the time of the tournament did not participate and, since 2018, neither do the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract holders. was a professional wrestling event promoted by DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT). The event took place on July 24, 2011, in Tokyo at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. The event featured nine matches, five of which were contested for championships. The event aired on Fighting TV Samurai. Shuji Ishikawa
is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently signed to All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), where he is a former Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Champion and the winner of the 2017 Champion Carnival. (born February 9, 1981) is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently signed to Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW) in the Strong BJ division. He is also known for his appearances in Pro Wrestling Zero1-Max. was a Japanese professional wrestling event promoted by DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT). The event took place on August 23, 2009, in Tokyo at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. The event featured ten matches, four of which were contested for championships. The event was announced on December 28, 2008 at the Never Mind 2008 event and its name was revealed at a press conference on February 13, 2009. Kota Ibushi
is a Japanese professional wrestler and martial artist signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), but is currently inactive due to suffering a shoulder injury. In March 2021, he became the company's inaugural IWGP World Heavyweight Champion by unifying the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the company's previous top title, with the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, therefore also becoming the final holder of both. Konosuke Takeshita
is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to both All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in the United States and DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT) in Japan.
