Kim Kataguiri
Kim Patroca Kataguiri (born 28 January 1996) is a Brazilian politician, activist, lecturer, and one of the founders and leaders of the Free Brazil Movement, a right-wing group. In October 2018 , he was elected a congressman for the 20192022 term, being the fourth most voted. Political career According to Kataguiri, his involvement in politics began in August 2013 when he was 17-years-old. In a history class at his college in São Paulo state, his teacher asserted that Brazil's "popular cash transfer program applauded by many experts around the globe was responsible for the expansion of Brazil's middle class and for lifting millions of citizens from poverty during the last decade." Chamber Of Deputies (Brazil)
The Chamber of Deputies ( pt, Câmara dos Deputados) is a federal legislative body and the lower house of the National Congress of Brazil. The chamber comprises 513 deputies, who are elected by proportional representation to serve four-year terms. The current President of the Chamber is the Deputy Arthur Lira ( PP- AL), who was elected on 1 February 2021. Structure The number of deputies elected is proportional to the size of the population of the respective state (or of the Federal District) as of 1994. However, no delegation can be made up of less than eight or more than seventy seats. Thus the least populous state elects eight federal deputies and the most populous elects seventy. These restrictions favour the smaller states at the expense of the more populous states and so the size of the delegations is not exactly proportional to population. Same-sex marriage in Brazil has been legal since 16 May 2013 in accordance with a decision from the National Justice Council, ordering notaries of every state to perform same-sex marriages.
