Kim Joo-yeon (; born May 11, 1993) is a South Korean musical, stage and television actress. She is best known for her role in Netflix Original Series '' Move to Heaven'' (2021) and '' Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha'' (2021). Early years Kim Joo-yeon was born on May 11, 1993, in Jeju, South Korea as the youngest of three daughters. Kim grew up in Jeju, where she had limited exposure to theater or musical performances. However, her life took a different turn after she met art teacher Ko Seong-woo in the third grade of elementary school. Kim played the male role in her school's team for the national folk song competition, which won the grand prize, and this experience played a significant role in gradually changing her shy personality. Kim developed an interest in music after becoming a fan of the indie band Jaurim, and she began taking singing lessons from a former professor of Seoul Institute of The Arts. ''The Crucible'' is a 1953 play by American playwright Arthur Miller. It is a dramatized and partially fictionalized story of the Salem witch trials that took place in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during 1692–93. Miller wrote the play as an allegory for McCarthyism, when the United States government persecuted people accused of being communists. Miller was questioned by the House of Representatives' Committee on Un-American Activities in 1956 and convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to identify others present at meetings he had attended.
