Kim Joo-hee (Hangul: 김주희, born June 30, 1981) is a South Korean beauty pageant Miss Korea titleholder and former Seoul Broadcasting System announcer. She represented her country at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant. Miss Korea 2005 Kim Joo-hee has been crowned Miss Korea 2005 in an event held at the Grand Hilton Hotel in Seoul on 30 June 2005 beating out 53 other contestants. Miss Korea
Miss Korea ( ko, 미스코리아) is a national beauty pageant in South Korea. Lee Seung-hyeon won the title on October 26, 2022. History The first Miss Korea competition took place in 1957 and was sponsored by the Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo. Each year, approximately fifty women compete in Seoul, South Korea, and seven are selected by a panel of judges. The winner "Jin" (진) is crowned as the official Miss Korea. Additionally, there are two "Sun" (선) finalists (equivalent to 1st runners-up), who go on to compete in Miss International or Miss Earth. Lastly, four "Mi" (미) finalists (equivalent to semi-finalists) are chosen. On March 16, 2011, the president of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley, announced the newly launched Miss World Korea pageant. Lee Hanee (; born March 2, 1983), also known as Honey Lee, is a South Korean actress, model, classical musician as well as beauty pageant titleholder where she represented her country at Miss Universe 2007. She has acted in several films and television series. Early life Lee Hanee is the middle child of three, and has an older sister and a younger brother. Her father Lee Sang-eob was a high-ranking official with the National Intelligence Service. Her mother Moon Jae-suk has a PhD in Korean music history and is a professor at Ewha Womans University as well as music director of Gimhae City Gayageum Orchestra. Miss Universe 2006 was the 55th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, United States on July 23, 2006. At the end of the event, Natalie Glebova of Canada crowned Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico as Miss Universe 2006. It is Puerto Rico's fifth victory in the pageant's history.
