Kim Jong-hoon (, born 5 May 1952) is a South Korean diplomat and politician who served as a parliamentarian and Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He played a major role in the South Korea–United States Free Trade Agreement. Biography Born in Daegu, he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1974. He worked for Korean embassies in France, Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso), Canada, and the United States. He then served as the Korean representative to internation organizations in Geneva, such as the WTO. During the presidency of Roh Moo-hyun, he began working on FTA negotiations between South Korea and the United States. Partly due to his efforts, the negotiations came through, forming the South Korea-United States Free Trade Agreement. After the negotiations, he served as chairman of UNESCAP in 2008 and 2010. Kim Jong-hoon ( Korean: 김종훈; Hanja: 金鍾勳; born 3 July 1964) is a South Korean politician. He is the current Floor Leader of the Minjung Party. He was the only Minjung Party member in the National Assembly until he lost his seat in the 2020 elections. Early life and education Kim Jong-hoon was born on July 3, 1964. He graduated from Ulsan University. Political career Member of Ulsan Metropolitan Council and Mayor (2002–2011) Kim was elected as a member to the Ulsan Metropolitan Council in 2002 as a member of the Democratic Labor Party. Kim Jong-hun (; born September 1, 1956) is a retired North Korean footballer and football manager. He served as head coach of the North Korea national team, and managed them at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Biography As a player, Kim Jong-hun has spent his career at April 25 Sports Club. He was capped four times for North Korea during the qualifications for the 1974 and 1986 FIFA World Cups. After ending his player career, Kim became a manager. He managed April 25 Sports Team until 2007, when he became the manager of North Korea national team.
