Kim Ismay is a British actress and singer and a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. She is perhaps best known for playing the role of Tanya in the London production of the stage musical '' Mamma Mia!'', Madame Morrible in the international and UK & Ireland tours of ''Wicked'' and as the Baroness in '' Chitty Chitty Bang Bang''. History The daughter of Ellen Ismay (1923–2002), Kim Ismay took a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts at the University of Kent. Since 1997 Ismay has been a Director and Fellow of the New Era Academy of Drama & Music. She is a patron of Momentum, the children's cancer charity, helping them to raise funds by producing and directing galas featuring West End stars. She is also an Ambassador for the Theatre charity Acting for Others, and an active supporter of Madtrust, the theatrical AIDS charity. ''Not Going Out'' is a British television sitcom that has aired on BBC One since 2006, and has 12 series making it the second longest running British sitcom (in series) behind the longest running sitcom worldwide, Last of the Summer Wine. It stars Lee Mack and Sally Bretton with Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Hugh Dennis and Abigail Cruttenden. The series has previously starred Megan Dodds, Miranda Hart, Tim Vine, Katy Wix and Bobby Ball. Production Lee Mack and Andrew Collins were the initial writers for the show, with Paul Kerensa, Simon Evans and Daniel Peak joining the writing staff in later series. ''Never the Twain'' is a British sitcom that ran for eleven series from 7 September 1981 to 9 October 1991. It was created by Johnnie Mortimer, and was the only sitcom he ever created without his usual writing partner, Brian Cooke. Mortimer wrote the entirety of the first two series, one episode of the seventh, and five out of six episodes of the eighth, with the rest being mainly written by John Kane and Vince Powell (who wrote the whole of the last three series).
