Kim Geun-chol
Kim Geun-Chol (born June 24, 1983) is South Korean footballer who plays for PTT Rayong in the Thai Division 1 League. He was regarded as one of the decent young midfielders. And he had a competitive relationship with Daejeon Citizen midfielder Kwon Jip, who had a role of playmaker in Dongbuk High school. Kim previously played for Shonan Bellmare in the J2 League. Seongnam
Seongnam () is the fourth largest city in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province after Suwon and the 10th largest city in the country. Its population is approximately one million. Daejeon Citizen
Daejeon Hana Citizen Football Club (Korean 대전 하나 시티즌 축구단) is a South Korean professional football team based in Daejeon that competes in the K League 1, the top tier of South Korean football. At the time of its foundation in 1997, Daejeon Citizen was the first community club in South Korea, not belonging to any company. The club first entered the K League for the 1997 season, finishing in seventh place. In spite of a limited budget, Daejeon won the 2001 Korean FA Cup. It has not achieved sustained success in the K League, historically occupying the middle and lower reaches of the standings each season. 2005 K-League
The 2005 K League was the 23rd season of the K League. It kicked off on May 15, and was finished on 4 December. The format of the regular season and championship playoffs was the same as the one used in the 2004 season. Busan IPark won the first stage, and the second stage was won by Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. Two winners were guaranteed their slot in the end-of-season playoffs. Incheon United and Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i also joined the playoffs according to the overall table after two stages. In the semi-finals Ulsan defeated Seongnam 2–1, and Incheon defeated Busan 2–0. The two victorious teams faced each other in the two-legged championship final. Ulsan won the first leg 5–1 at the Incheon stadium, and though Incheon won the second leg 2–1, Ulsan lifted their second league title 6–3 on aggregate.
