Kim Garth
Kimberley Jennifer Garth (born 25 April 1996) is an Irish-Australian cricketer who currently plays for Victoria, Melbourne Stars and Australia. An all-rounder, she plays as a right-arm medium bowler and right-handed batter. Between 2010 and 2019, she played international cricket for Ireland, the country of her birth, playing more than 100 matches for the side, before deciding to move to Australia. She made her international debut for Australia in December 2022. Biography Born in Dublin, Garth is the daughter of Jonathan Garth and Anne-Marie McDonald, both of whom also played for Ireland. Her father was born in South Africa. Garth herself made her international debut in July 2010, in a one-off ODI against New Zealand. Perth Scorchers (WBBL)
The Perth Scorchers (WBBL) are an Australian women's Twenty20 cricket team based in East Perth, Western Australia. They compete in the Women's Big Bash League, and won their first championship in WBBL07. History Formation One of eight founding WBBL teams, the Perth Scorchers are aligned with the men's team of the same name. List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. List A cricket includes One Day International (ODI) matches and various domestic competitions in which the number of overs in an innings per team ranges from forty to sixty, as well as some international matches involving nations who have not achieved official ODI status. Miranda Veringmeier
Miranda Veringmeier (born 22 July 1992) is a Dutch cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and wicket-keeper. She has played 15 One Day Internationals and 17 Twenty20 Internationals for the Netherlands since making her debut in 2008, at the age of 15. She also played for the Netherlands in the English domestic system between 2009 and 2015, and played for Worcestershire in 2016. The Pakistan women's national cricket team, also known as Green Shirts or Women in Green, represents Pakistan in international women's cricket. Fiona Elaine Urquhart (born 20 August 1987) is a Scottish international cricketer who debuted for the Scottish national side in 2000. The Ireland women's cricket team represents Ireland in international women's cricket. Bowling, in cricket, is the action of propelling the ball toward the wicket defended by a batter. All-rounder
An all-rounder is a cricketer who regularly performs well at both batting and bowling. Although all bowlers must bat and quite a handful of batsmen do bowl occasionally, most players are skilled in only one of the two disciplines and are considered specialists. Some wicket-keepers have the skills of a specialist batter and have been referred to as all-rounders, but the term ''wicket-keeper-batter'' is more commonly applied to them, even if they are substitute wicket keepers who also bowl.
