Kim Fazackerley
Kim M Fazackerley (born 16 February 1967) is an Australian former cricketer who played primarily as a right-arm medium fast bowler. She appeared in three Test matches and nine One Day Internationals for Australia between 1992 and 1996. She played domestic cricket for Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland. Fazackerley was the first Tasmanian woman to play for Australia. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). The Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) is the national domestic 50-over competition for women's cricket in Australia.
