Kim Byoung-jun
Kim Byoung-jun (; born 15 August 1991) is a South Korean athlete specialising in the high hurdles. He represented his country at the 2017 World Championships without advancing from the first round. Additionally, he won a silver medal at the 2014 Asian Games and a bronze at the 2015 Asian Championships. His personal bests are 13.39 seconds in the 110 metres hurdles (+0.3 m/s, Bangkok 2017) and 7.86 seconds in the 60 metres hurdles 60 metres hurdles is a distance in hurdling which is generally run in indoor competitions. North Gyeongsang Province
North Gyeongsang Province ( ko, 경상북도, translit=Gyeongsangbuk-do, ) is a province in eastern South Korea. The province was formed in 1896 from the northern half of the former Gyeongsang province, and remained a province of Korea until the country's division in 1945, then became part of South Korea. Daegu was the capital of North Gyeongsang Province between 1896 and 1981, but has not been a part of the province since 1981. In 2016, the provincial capital moved from Daegu to Andong. 2017 World Championships In Athletics – Men's 110 Metres Hurdles
The men's 110 metres hurdles at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics was held at the London Olympic Stadium on . Summary Russian defending champion Sergey Shubenkov, having missed the Olympics due to the drugs scandal, was competing as an Authorised Neutral Athlete. Since the last World Championships, Omar McLeod (Jamaica) had won the Indoor World title and the Olympics and had the year's fastest time. The returning silver medallist was his countryman Hansle Parchment, while the returning bronze medalist was world record holder Aries Merritt (United States), who underwent a kidney transplant four days after the previous championships. In the final, from the gun, McLeod had a slight lead over the first hurdle and retained the lead throughout. Shubenkov looked to be the only athlete gaining on him from behind. 2017 Asian Athletics Championships
The 2017 Asian Athletics Championships was the 22nd edition of the Asian Athletics Championships. It was held from 6 to 9 July 2017 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India. Bhubaneswar was the third Indian city to host Asian Championships. Around 560 athletes from 41 countries attended the event. The Championships were originally scheduled to be held at Ranchi, Jharkhand. After Ranchi's inability to host this event, Bhubaneswar was selected as the venue for this event.
