Kill The Flaw
''Kill the Flaw'' is the eleventh studio album by American rock band Sevendust. It is the third album that is self-produced and recorded at Architekt Music studio in Butler, New Jersey. It was released on October 2, 2015, through 7Bros. Promotion "Thank You" is the album's first single, which is available on iTunes and other digital outlets. On August 27, 2015, The lyric video for the song "Not Today" was made available for streaming via MetalSucks.net, MetalInsider.net and Metal Injection, as well through all digital retailers. On September 25, 2015, the band made the entire album available for streaming, one week ahead of release. To promote ''Kill the Flaw'', Sevendust has created "The Making of Kill the Flaw", a series of three webisodes which give fans a look at the process of making the album. Sevendust is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and rhythm guitarist John Connolly. After their first demo, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and lead guitarist Clint Lowery joined the group. Morgan Rose
Morgan Jay Rose (born December 13, 1968) is an American drummer and a founding member of Atlanta-based rock band Sevendust. He is also responsible for much of the background vocals. He has also played drums for Call Me No One and Methods of Mayhem. Rose is vice president of Imagen Records. Early life Rose lived in New Jersey until the age of seven, before he and his family moved back to Atlanta, Georgia. Rose's father was a guitarist and his mother, who followed the Raspberries in the 1970s, took her young son to see David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour, which he witnessed while sitting on the shoulders of a security guard. He credits his father with teaching him guitar and claimed that he was able to play Jimi Hendrix's "If 6 Was 9" when he was three years old. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Vinnie Hornsby
Vince Hornsby (born October 22, 1967) is the bassist and one of the founding members of American rock band Sevendust. Music career Sevendust Before the formation of Sevendust, Hornsby was in the band Snake Nation along with Morgan Rose, also of Sevendust. In 1994, Snake Nation were supported by fellow local group, Body & Soul, an R&B group fronted by Lajon Witherspoon. Amazed by Witherspoon's vocal prowess, Rose and Hornsby asked him to join their band. Next they recruited guitarists John Connolly, the former drummer of the band Peacedog, and Lee Banks to form Rumblefish. The name was later changed to Crawlspace. Clint Lowery of Still Rain from North Carolina replaced Lee Banks in 1995 when the band's arduous schedule forced him to quit. John Connolly (musician)
John Connolly (born October 21, 1968) is an American musician best known as the guitarist of rock band Sevendust. Connolly is known for his fire designed custom made Les Paul guitar designed by Epiphone, but has since switched to Dean Guitars. Career Piece Dogs In 1988, John Connolly, with vocalist Greg Anderson, guitarist Mike Grimmett and bassist Kyle Sanders started a band called Piece Dogs in Atlanta, Georgia.
