Kill A Dragon
''Kill a Dragon'' (filmed under the working title of ''To Kill a Dragon'') is a 1967 adventure film pitting Jack Palance against Fernando Lamas: Palance is an adventurer and Lamas is a ruthless dictator/warlord. Filmed on location in Hong Kong and Macau, it was produced by Aubrey Schenck and released through United Artists. In the United States the film was double billed with ''Navajo Joe''. Co-star Aldo Ray later appeared in Lamas's ''The Violent Ones'' (1967). Plot On an island of Hong Kong’s New Territories, a ship’s cargo of nitroglycerin washes ashore due to a typhoon. The islanders claim the cargo under the law of salvage, but the powerful Nico Patrai threatens to destroy the island and its inhabitants if the nitroglycerine is not given to him in three days. Double Bill
The double feature is a motion picture industry phenomenon in which theatres would exhibit two films for the price of one, supplanting an earlier format in which one feature film and various short subject reels would be shown. Opera use Opera houses staged two operas together for the sake of providing long performance for the audience. This was related to one-act or two-act short operas that were otherwise commercially hard to stage alone. Kam Tong
Kam Tong (December 18, 1906 – November 8, 1969) was a Chinese-American actor. He was best known for his role as Hey Boy on the CBS television series '' Have Gun, Will Travel'' and as Dr. Li in the film version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical ''Flower Drum Song''. Curiously, though appearing as a series regular on '' Have Gun, Will Travel'' he was never afforded a regular featured credit, always instead listed undistinguished from the support guest cast, perhaps an indication of inherent discrimination in that regard. Aliza Gur ( he, עליזה גור, born Alizia Gross; 1 April 1940) is an Israeli actress who was Miss Israel of 1960 and a semifinalist in the Miss Universe pageant held in Miami Beach that same year. She played Vida in the James Bond film '' From Russia with Love'' in 1963. There are two types of junk in China: northern junk, which developed from Chinese river boats, and southern junk, which developed from Austronesian ships visiting southern Chinese coasts since the 3rd century CE. An adventure is an exciting experience or undertaking that is typically bold, sometimes risky. New Territories
The New Territories is one of the three main regions of Hong Kong, alongside Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula. It makes up 86.2% of Hong Kong's territory, and contains around half of the population of Hong Kong.
